Neymar Jr

Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior was born in São Paulo on February 5, 1992. His parents are Neymar da Silva (former soccer player) and Nadine Santos (housewife). He has a son, named David Lucca, born in 2012, fruit of his relationship with Carolina Dantas.

In 1992, he started playing in the minor divisions of Santos FC club. In 2009, he debuted in the first team and was chosen as the Best Young Player of the Paulista Championship. In 2010, he was elected Best Forward and Best Player. He was also the top scorer of the 2010 Brazil Cup. In 2011, he won the Brazilian League title and the Copa Libertadores.

With the Brazilian soccer team, Neymar has played in the U-17 and U-20 categories. In 2012, he played in the London Olympics. Currently, he is the starting striker of the adult team. In 2011 and 2012, he was nominated for the FIFA Golden Ball Award. In May 2013, he was hired by the Barcelona FC club of Spain.
