Anuel AA

Emmanuel Gazmey Santiago (Carolina, Puerto Rico, November 27, 1992), known by his stage name Anuel AA, is a Puerto Rican rap, trap and reggaeton singer.

BIOGRAPHY:

He comes from a middle class family in Carolina, Puerto Rico, Anuel was born in 1992, being the son of musician and businessman José Gazmey, who was vice president of the corporation Sony Music in Puerto Rico, who is a friend of the singer also Tempo.

MUSICAL CAREER:

Anuel AA started making songs at the end of 2010 and in 2012 started recording at Maybach Music. Beginning to gain popularity in 2014 in Puerto Rico and the United States, in mid-2015, he made his name with the song La Ocasión, which in 2 weeks recorded more than 2 million visits on the YouTube page. The rapper and American businessman Rick Ross, hired him for the label Maybach Music Group, the same of French Montana. He is also hired in the company of singer Ñengo Flow, Real G4 Life.

ARREST:

On April 3, 2016, Anuel AA was placed under arrest along with other people, when according to the authorities, he left the Tabaco & Ron Lounge San Juan nightclub in Santurce, Puerto Rico. To Anuel a Glock pistol model 23 caliber .40 was seized; one Glock model 30 caliber .45 and another Glock model 19 caliber nine millimeters in a 2007 Honda Accord car.

The fans of Anuel AA called a demonstration in support of the outside of the federal prison in Guaynabo on May 15, 2016. The protesters carried banners and cigarettes in allusion to the singer, at the time of being arrested by the authorities.
